Bill Brosseau’s Wine Maker’s Notes:
Deep red color. This wine opens up nicely with hints of cherry, anise, and cocoa. Upon taste, anise, cocoa, blackberry, and vanilla bean carry seamlessly through the palate and are matched by fine grain tannins as well as ample richness. What makes this red blend interesting is its refreshing acidity which allows it to be extremely food friendly. The wine ends well with a nice spicy and long finish. Drink now through 2017.
