Chloe LaFortune
Born in San Francisco, Chloe has called Santa Cruz home for over 20 years. She attended California State University Monterey Bay, where she completed her degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in hospitality. It was within the small community of Monterey, that Chloe was first introduced to the world of wine. Chloe's wine career began at Georis Winery, a boutique winery located in Carmel Valley.
Chloe later went on to enter the Food & Beverage team at The Inn at Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach. It was there that Chloe was able to bridge the worlds of wine and food for her guests. During this time she also completed her level one Master Sommelier Certificate. Most recently Chloe participated in the opening of Cafe La Strada, an European style patisserie located on historic Cannery Row at The Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa.
Returning to Santa Cruz, Chloe has joined the team at Black Ridge as the Hospitality Coordinator where she supports tasting room operations, wine club membership and special event coordination.

I am excited to be a part of Black Ridge and represent a team so committed to producing spectacular wine and staying true to the unique character of this Santa Cruz appellation."
When not pouring wine for guests, Chloe is an avid traveler. Most recent stamps in her passport include, Lisbon, Edinburgh and London. She also frequents local farmers markets and enjoys cooking at home.
